Jerome Nakagawa, Roxanna White, Brianna Reed

White brings the joyous moments to their paintings through preservation of family and culture, while also incorporating anime into their Indigenous art. Nakagawa speaks about his mixed-race identity of Diné and Japanese, and how it is this combination that informs his point of view, and ultimately, his art. Reed brings to the table the idea of family and the personal, and how artists and writers can navigate these dynamics, albeit often difficult.
